In the first 2 man tournament event on the PGA Tour for more than 30 years, Kevin Kisner holed out a pitch for eagle on the final hole in regular play to earn a playoff with his partner Scott Brown against Swede Jonas Blixt and Australian Cameron Smith but it was Blixt and Smith that tasted victory with a birdie on the 4th extra hole.

Frenchman Alexander Levy is pushing for a Ryder Cup place in 2018 being held in his home country with a win at the Volvo Chine Open.
Levy the 2014 China Open champion came from 7 behind overnight leader South African Dylan Frittelli and finish on -17 to earn a playoff and managed a birdie on the 1st extra hole to claim the title and give him his 4th European Tour victory.
Volunteers of America Texas Shootout
Japan’s Haru Nomura and America’s Christe Kerr both finished on -3 in regular play but it was Nomura that held out on the 6th extra hole to claim the title.
The most significant rule change in years came into being this week, with the USPGA and R+A declaring that video evidence will no longer be used in determining rule infringements. Rather that the naked eye and player judgement will be used. This also brings in a level playing field for those players not being scrutinised by television evidence.
